FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Are you a field technician who loves solving problems on-site and making a real difference directly at the customer's location? Are you comfortable with mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics, and ready to travel across the United States?

Shearex, a division of GRYB International, designs and manufactures shrink-wrap equipment for the wood and lumber industry. We are looking for a Field Service Technician to perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our equipment directly at customer sites across the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Install, commission, and calibrate equipment at customer sites
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting
• Diagnose failures and carry out on-site repairs
• Train customer operators on safe equipment use
• Document service work (service reports, parts used, time)
• Collaborate with the technical team and customer service
• Travel across the United States as business needs require

YOUR TERRITORY

Nationwide coverage — United States, primarily the South (Georgia, Florida, Mississippi) | Travel: 90% on the road

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

Preferred

• Valid driver's license and valid passport (travel within the U.S.)
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot on-site
• Basic knowledge of industrial mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics
• Ability to lift equipment and work in a plant/customer shop environment
• Functional English required
• Vocational/technical diploma in mechanics, electromechanics, electricity, or related field
• Experience in field service
• French an asset
• Experience with industrial or shrink-wrap/packaging equipment

Compensation Based on Experience

SALARY : To be determinated
